Greetings travelers!
Thank you for visiting my ‘Cultural Travel Guide’ blog!
Since you’re here, we probably have many common travelling habits.
You know perfectly well that the best time of your trip is not your hotel and airport experience, but your touch with the local’s culture. It’s all of these unique experiences that can’t happen anywhere else in this way. Or can‘t happen at all.
Sometimes, they happen far away from the crowds and you have to find them by yourself. Your reward for these efforts is the gain of a most valuable outcome – the cultural enrichment. All those memories and experiences turn you into an open-minded storyteller! Just a visit to coffee plantations could leave a lifetime memory and you’ll remember it with your morning espresso every day.
So that’s why I am trying to share every little piece of a cultural touch during my travels. This blog aims to unite all these different experiences that are incomplete to be shared just by photos in the socials. All the blog stories are based on my personal experience. I’m appreciating your comments and discussions in this blog so feel free to share your perspective as well.
Many of the blogs were published as travel articles in a series called ‘Cultural Travel Guide’. It’s a two-page section in The Economist’s magazine Bulgarian issue, containing my and my colleagues’ work. Since the text size is limited in paper copies, here I will enrich them and post my non-published works as well.
I hope you will enjoy reading it!
